Participation of the Secretary-General of AUREED International University in the Institutional Excellence Forum in Qatar
In the framework of enhancing academic cooperation and outstanding institutional practices, Dr. Saif Youssef Al-Suwaidi, Secretary-General of AUREED International University for Graduate Studies, participated in the Institutional Excellence Forum in Qatar, held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Hilton Doha.
The forum, organized by Qatar University in collaboration with OISSG Consultancy, was attended by a number of academics and experts in institutional excellence from various sectors. The forum was held under the theme “Institutional Excellence in Qatar: Reality and Future Prospects”, highlighting ways to improve institutional performance across different organizations and to develop strategies for enhancement and innovation.
The first session, titled “The Reality of Institutional Excellence in Qatar: Analyzing Current Practices”, discussed the current trends of Qatari institutions in the field of institutional excellence and evaluated their performance against global standards.
The second session, titled “The Future of Institutional Excellence: Opportunities for Improvement and Innovation”, focused on ways to enhance institutional performance using modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, as well as exploring future opportunities that can contribute to raising levels of excellence and innovation within institutions.
In a statement during the forum, Dr. Al-Suwaidi emphasized the importance of adopting institutional excellence standards in universities and educational institutions, noting that AUREED International University always seeks to integrate these standards into its academic programs and strategies to provide distinguished education aligned with the latest global trends in higher education.
Dr. Al-Suwaidi also participated in discussions on how to activate innovation in educational systems and strengthen the role of universities in supporting institutional excellence through advanced academic programs.
