The Secretary-General of Ureed International University undertakes a distinguished academic tour in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During a distinguished academic visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Saif Yusuf Al-Suwaidi, Secretary-General of Ureed International University for Graduate Studies, expressed his pleasure at discovering Bahrain’s beautiful landmarks and visiting a number of its academic and research institutions, which reflect the spirit of creativity and development in this remarkable country. This visit comes within the framework of strengthening academic cooperation and cultural exchange between Ureed University and higher education institutions in Bahrain. Dr. Al-Suwaidi visited several universities and research centers in the Kingdom, praising the significant role Bahrain plays in advancing education and scientific research in the region. The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss avenues of cooperation between Ureed University and Bahraini educational institutions in the fields of graduate studies and scientific research. The visit further included meetings with a number of distinguished academic figures in Bahrain, including members of the Ureed Scientific Platform. Discussions focused on ways to enhance cooperation in research and education, as well as exchanging ideas regarding future projects managed by the Ureed Foundation and Ureed International University. Dr. Al-Suwaidi also extended an invitation to participate in the 17th International Scientific Forum, scheduled to be held in Ankara this month, emphasizing the importance of this event, which will bring together an elite group of scholars and researchers in a distinguished academic setting aimed at exchanging expertise and advancing the scientific level in the Arab world. On the sidelines of the visit, Dr. Al-Suwaidi also met with His Excellency Professor Dr. Yousif Abdulghaffar, President of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility, where discussions were held on future cooperation in social responsibility initiatives and the development of endowment projects that support sustainable development in the region. About the Regional Network for Social Responsibility: The Regional Network for Social Responsibility is an international, non-profit professional organization established in 2007. It has branches in several Arab and international countries, including Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and others. The Network aims to raise awareness of social responsibility and promote its adoption among companies and institutions in both the public and private sectors, with a focus on sustainable development, the green economy, and community sustainability. At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Al-Suwaidi expressed his deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Bahrain for the warm reception and generous hospitality, extending his appreciation to everyone he met during the visit.
