The Secretary-General of AUREED International University participates in the 2025 Erbil International Book Fair and visits publishing houses.

In support of education and culture, Dr. Saif Youssef Al-Suwaidi, Secretary-General of AUREED International University for Graduate Studies, participated in the Erbil International Book Fair, held from April 9 to 19, 2025. This fair is considered one of the most prominent cultural events in the region, bringing together publishing houses from around the world to showcase their latest releases in literature, science, and the arts.
During his participation, Dr. Al-Suwaidi visited numerous participating publishers, reviewing their latest publications in the fields of scientific research and higher education. He emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between AUREED International University and these publishers to exchange knowledge and enrich academic libraries with advanced scientific content, particularly in artificial intelligence, humanities, and Islamic studies.
Dr. Al-Suwaidi also highlighted the significant role that cultural fairs play in facilitating access to the latest books and scientific references, noting that AUREED International University always seeks to benefit from such events to support its academic programs and enhance the quality of education by utilizing the newest scientific publications offered by publishers.
In this context, the Secretary-General expressed his pleasure in AUREED University’s participation in this prominent cultural fair, describing it as an important step in strengthening the university’s position in the cultural and scientific arena and keeping pace with developments in academic publishing.
Dr. Al-Suwaidi further pointed out the importance of events like the Erbil International Book Fair in supporting cultural and intellectual creativity in the region, stressing the need for continuous cooperation with various academic and cultural institutions to achieve the goals of education and innovation in the Arab world.
