A delegation from Areed International University and the International Scientific Forum visits the Deputy President of Religious Affairs of Turkey, Dr. Ahmed Ishaq Demir.
As part of efforts to enhance academic and religious cooperation, a delegation from Areed International University for Graduate Studies and the Seventeenth International Scientific Forum paid an official visit to Dr. Ahmed Ishaq Demir, Deputy President of Religious Affairs of Turkey, in Ankara. The delegation was headed by Dr. Saif Yusuf Al-Suwaidi, Secretary-General of Areed International University. It also included Professor Dr. Yaqub Gyulek, Secretary-General of the Seventeenth International Scientific Forum; Dr. Maryam Qais, Executive Director and Secretary-General of Areed International University and the Areed Waqf; and Professor Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri, President of the Saei Foundation for Waqf Development (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), along with a number of distinguished academic figures who participated in the Seventeenth International Scientific Forum. The visit focused on exploring avenues of cooperation between Areed International University and the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs in the fields of academic education, scientific research, and waqf development. The discussions also highlighted the important role played by the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs in promoting religious and educational values in Turkey and the Islamic world, as well as ways to support Sharia education and waqf institutions. Dr. Saif Al-Suwaidi expressed his pleasure with the visit, describing it as an important opportunity for cooperation between Areed International University for Graduate Studies and the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs. He emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise and knowledge in higher education, as well as strengthening scientific endowments in the region. He also affirmed that cooperation with the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs would enhance Areed University’s position as a leading educational institution in the Arab and Islamic world. For his part, Dr. Ahmed Ishaq Demir thanked the delegation for the valuable visit, noting the importance of academic institutions in advancing scientific research and religious education. He also emphasized the role of waqf in supporting educational and community projects that contribute to building sustainable and enlightened societies. The visit concluded with an emphasis on the importance of continuing cooperation between Areed International University for Graduate Studies and the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs, in a manner that benefits higher education and waqf institutions across the Islamic world.
