The Cultural Forum of the Arid Scientific Foundation in Malaysia: “Prospects of Artificial Intelligence in the Service of Scientific Research.”
On November 14, 2025, the Cultural Forum of the Arid Scientific Foundation was held in Malaysia under the title “Prospects of Artificial Intelligence in the Service of Scientific Research,” with the participation of a distinguished group of scholars, experts, and researchers. The forum witnessed active engagement from members of the Arid platform in Malaysia, who discussed the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing scientific research and offering innovative solutions to improve research processes across various fields. During the forum, recent developments in artificial intelligence were reviewed, along with ways to integrate these technologies into scientific research to improve the accuracy of analyses, accelerate discoveries, and provide effective solutions to the challenges facing researchers in the digital age. The discussions also addressed applications of artificial intelligence in medical, social, and engineering research, and how these technologies can contribute to a qualitative shift in the research process. The forum was attended by a number of prominent academic figures from among Arid members in Malaysia. Participants exchanged views on future trends in artificial intelligence and discussed avenues for joint cooperation to achieve tangible progress in scientific research through these modern technologies. Emphasis was placed on the importance of developing intelligent platforms that enable researchers around the world to exchange knowledge and collaborate on joint research projects. In his opening address, Dr. Saif Yousef Al-Suwaidi, Secretary-General of the International Arid University, stressed the importance of artificial intelligence as a pivotal tool for advancing scientific research, noting that the Arid Scientific Foundation is committed to promoting this direction through its digital platforms and providing support to researchers in the field of artificial intelligence. The forum concluded with participants affirming the importance of international cooperation among scholars and researchers across various scientific disciplines to maximize the benefits of artificial intelligence and drive progress in scientific research at the global level.
