URID International University sponsors the 17th International Scientific Forum in Ankara, with the participation of 3,200 researchers and experts from 35 universities and scientific institutions.

The URID Scientific Foundation (URID Endowment) concluded the activities of the 17th International Scientific Forum, which was held in the Turkish capital, Ankara, from November 20 to 25, 2025, under the title: “Knowledge Economy in the Light of Interdisciplinary Studies: An Integrative Reading between Universities and Endowment Institutions.” The forum witnessed broad scientific participation, with 3,200 Arabic-speaking researchers, experts, and academics, alongside institutional participation from 35 universities, research centers, and scientific associations. The event was sponsored by URID International University for Graduate Studies, in cooperation with Ankara Social Sciences University, the Turkish Religious Foundation, Diyala University, the URID Platform, Al-Basirah Association, the Hadith Sciences Association, Idris Academy, and the Sia Balder Foundation. Nine Scientific Conferences and 72 Peer-Reviewed Papers The forum included nine international scientific conferences covering the fields of humanities and social sciences, Islamic studies, applied sciences, sustainability, information metrics, digital media, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence. During the events, 72 peer-reviewed scientific papers were presented out of 165 submitted papers, distributed across seven research sessions, in addition to 18 scientific lectures and applied workshops. The forum was also attended by university presidents, college deans, and prominent academic and media figures who contributed to enriching the scientific discussions. Announcement of Recommendations: Promoting the Knowledge Economy and Scientific Endowments At the conclusion of the forum, several important recommendations were issued, highlighting the enhancement of the knowledge and endowment dimensions in development, most notably: Publishing a documentary book of the forum proceedings in both print and digital formats. Publishing distinguished research papers in indexed peer-reviewed journals such as Scopus and URID University journals. Inviting Arab universities to benefit from the forum’s outcomes to support scientific elites. Supporting projects of the URID Scientific Platform, such as the Sons of Scholars Platform, the Space and Astronomy Academy, and the Digital Endowment. Strengthening academic cooperation between universities and URID International University. Adopting a standardized framework for the Arabization of scientific terminology. Supporting digital scientific and knowledge endowments to serve researchers globally. Launch of Three New Scientific Initiatives During the closing session, the URID Scientific Foundation announced the launch of three new scientific initiatives: 1. Waqfi Jannati Platform for documenting personal endowments. 2. One Million Arab Researchers Initiative. 3. Global Academic Leadership Institute (GALI). Message of Gratitude and Prayer at the Conclusion of the Forum In closing, the URID Scientific Foundation expressed its gratitude to the Republic of Türkiye, as well as to the universities and institutions supporting the forum. It also thanked the researchers, speakers, experts, and all those involved in organizing the events. The final statement emphasized the importance of continuing scientific and research cooperation in service of the knowledge economy, with prayers that Almighty God grant the world security and stability, and that knowledge remains a path to enlightenment and civilizational advancement.
