The Secretary-General of Ureed University participates in the “Global Program for Excellence in Academic Leadership” in Malaysia.

In line with Ureed International University’s efforts to develop academic leadership and enhance international scientific cooperation, Dr. Saif Yusuf Al-Suwaidi, Secretary-General of the University, participated in the Global Program for Excellence in Academic Leadership, which was held in Malaysia from November 9 to 12, 2025. This program provided an excellent opportunity to meet a distinguished group of higher education experts in Malaysia, where participants were introduced to an outstanding academic leadership experience in managing academic institutions and developing higher education. Dr. Al-Suwaidi also met more than 35 academic leaders from 12 countries, which contributed to expanding the scope of international academic cooperation and strengthening the exchange of expertise among educational institutions worldwide. Dr. Al-Suwaidi expressed his gratitude for this valuable opportunity, noting that the meetings and workshops organized during the program were rich in information and ideas that enhance higher education leadership in the Arab world. He also praised Malaysia’s experience in academic leadership, emphasizing that it represents an advanced model in employing modern strategies to improve university performance and promote scientific research. At the conclusion of his participation, Dr. Al-Suwaidi extended his sincere thanks to Malaysia for the warm hospitality and generosity he received during the program, expressing his appreciation to everyone for the support and encouragement provided in advancing academic leadership at the global level.
